Description
This is a beautiful ground floor apartment, with 54 square metres of floor space and suitable for people with disabilities. It has a spacious sitting and dining room including a well-equipped kitchen, a double bed (two single beds on request), a comfortable double Italian sofa-bed that’s really easy to use, plus a bathroom with an accessible shower. There is one step into the apartment block; however a new, foldable ramp is available for the use by guests. Previous guests have tested and used the ramp without any issues.
Originally the residence of a family in the 14th century, the apartment is located near major attractions such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery and Palazzo Pitti. There are seven fully furnished apartments in total, with each apartment named after a famous Florentine, one of which has an original fresco dating back to the 15th century!
Staying here means that you will be staying right in the very heart of Florentine culture. Complimentary services such as tea and coffee, extra pillows and covers, daily newspapers and late check in and check out are all included. Other services that are available on request for a small additional charge include daily housekeeping, laundry and ironing and personal shopping.

Area information
The apartments are situated “diladdarno” on the other side of the Arno, in one of the most fascinating areas of the historic city of Florence (Piazza Pitti – Ponte Vecchio). This apartment is in a 'fantastico' position just 3 minutes’ walk from Ponte Vecchio; in 5 minutes you can reach Palazzo Vecchio in Piazza della Signoria and in less than 10 minutes you can admire the Duomo. The heart of shopping is here too, with Via Calimala, Via Calzaiuoli, Via Tornabuoni, Via Roma and San Lorenzo all close by, while food lovers will be spoilt for choice: Belfiore is close to many trattorie and restaurants which offer authentic Tuscan cuisine, just waiting for you to sample and savour.
