Airdeny Chalets is to be found less than a mile from Taynuilt and 12 miles from Oban, in a quiet unspoilt glen, with spectacular views of Ben Cruachan (3650ft) and Glen Etive.

The chalets are situated in 3.5 acres of private land, which has its own bluebell wood and a myriad of wildlife. Roe deer, pheasant, buzzards and many other wild birds enjoy the peaceful, natural habitat. The chalets each enjoy their own privacy and have their own parking area next to the chalet. There is plenty of space for children to run around in a safe environment. An added bonus is that the chalet park is a ‘midge free zone’!

One of the 3 brand new three bedroom chalets has been purpose built for assisted wheel chair access. It has a double bedroom with a king size bed and an en-suite wet shower. There are also two twin bedrooms and another bathroom with a bath and shower over.

The kitchen is extremely well fitted and kitted out, including a dishwasher. The chalet park is open all year round. During July and August bookings run from Saturday to Saturday, but short breaks are available throughout the rest of the year from November to Easter.

Room Amenities

Facilities include a drying cupboard for those wet days and there is a TV with Sky freesat, a DVD player and a CD player.

All the chalets are fitted with wall panel heaters throughout, are double glazed and have cavity wall insulation. Electricity is by meter and is charged at the current rate and payable at the end of the stay.

All bed linen is supplied. Towels are available for hire, but must be booked in advance.

There are laundry facilities on site, with a washing machine and tumble drier.

Dogs are welcome, but must be booked in advance as some chalets are dog free, including the chalet with disabled wheel chair access.

There is a small charge for each dog.

Smoking is not permitted inside the chalets.

The chalet park is under the personal supervision of the owner who is resident on site and will endeavour to make your stay an enjoyable one. She ensures that the chalets are maintained to the highest housekeeping standards.
