Easy driving distance of the Norfolk Broads, a haven for wildlife. The expanse of waterways is best explored by boat, daily motor launch hire and river trips are available with plenty of riverside restaurants and picnic opportunities. Traditional seaside town of Great Yarmouth,10 mile, for fun fair and amusements. Further afield are the seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham, famous for shell fish and Poppyline Steam Railway. Continue along the coastal route to RSPB and salt marsh nature reserves for excellent walks and bird watching opportunities. Boat trips to visit the basking seal colonies and Blakeney Point Nature Reserve available from Blakeney and Morston Quay. Norwich, 18 miles, for excellent shopping, cafes, restaurants, theatre, cinema complexes, castle museum and cathedral. Shops 50 yards, pubs 150 yards.
