The Grand Hotel Palazzo Carpegna is a 4 star hotel located at 3 Km from the Vatican City, St. Peter's Basilica and Rome city centre. The hotel is housed in a wonderful historical building surrounded by luxuriant gardens, within the charming setting of Villa Carpegna park. Recently completely renovated, the Grand Hotel Palazzo Carpegna offers 200 rooms including Classic, Superior and Junior Suite.

Location

This hotel is located just 3 km from the Vatican City and the city centre. The nearest public transport connection is 350 m from the hotel (subway). Termini railway station is 10 km from the hotel and Fiumicino Airport is some 25 km away.

Facilities

The hotel offers an impressive and extensive conference centre for both business and social occasions. The Hotel has two elegant restaurants and a bar offering typical local and Italian wines and dishes for all tastes. Further facilities include 24-hour reception service, a hotel safe, lift access and wireless high speed internet access with charge.

Room

The guest rooms have recently been fully refurbished and offer very comfortable accommodation. Each one is air-conditioned and provides satellite TV with Sky and movie channels, a bathroom with shower and hairdryer, alarm clock, mini-bar, modem connection, direct dial telephone and radio. Non smoking rooms and room for the disabled are available on request.

Note

Please note that reception, bar and restaurant are in the main building but rooms are divided in 4 other buildings (San Sebastiano, San Pancrazio, San Giovanni, San Tarcisio). Just two of them have a lift. All buildings are divided in ground, first and second floor. Just few rooms are for handicapped access (all at ground floor with special bathroom).
