Description

Lakeside Lodge offers guests high standards of décor, comfort and quality at a great price! With only 14 bedrooms, our team is dedicated to ensuring you have a great stay with us; and they’re on hand 24-hours a day to ensure it!

All bedrooms are spacious, bright and contemporary. They’re fully en suite, fully accessible and offer multi channel satellite plasma television, complimentary high-speed Internet access, telephone, iron & ironing board, hairdryers and in-room tea and coffee making facilities and 24-hour room service.

Our reception team are hand picked …. so from making your initial reservation, to meeting you on arrival, to ensuring you have excellent service throughout your stay and beyond, they will respond professionally and with genuine care, so you can fully enjoy your time with us.

They’re a mine of local information from what’s going on in the area; recommending things to see and places to go; bus and train times and fares; taxi’s; restaurants and bars to go to … and which one’s to avoid!

And of course, there’s every reason to dine and relax at the Lodge, where our beautiful Lakeside Bar & Bistro offers a modern British menu at fantastic value for money, in our fabulous setting and with excellent service. Additionally our sea view, roof top terrace is really breathtaking for aperitifs, after dinner drinks or a night cap!

Guests attending a conference or event in the centre will receive a corporate rate inclusive of breakfast. Additionally guests of the Lodge have complimentary use of our on-site, secure car park.

All guests of our Lakeside Lodge are invited to use our fitness suite facilities with our compliments. Our fully accessible IFI-Accredited Fitness Suite offers a wide range of equipment, both cardio vascular and resistance that is designed specifically for people with disabilities.

Area Information

Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre’s Lakeside Lodge is located in the heart of Crosby Coastal Park, ideal for many informal activities such as bird watching, flying kites, walking, and picnics. Also calling Crosby Coastal Park home is Antony Gormley’s “Another Place.” Winner of the Turner Prize in 1994, Antony Gormley is best known for his controversial sculpture ‘Angel of the North’ which dominates the skyline near Newcastle. Another Place is a massive installation on Crosby Beach that consists of 100 cast-iron figures, molded from the artist’s own body in the style that has become synonymous with his work. The ghostly life-size figures are dotted along three kilometers of the Crosby shore. Lakeside Lodge is a 15-minute drive from Liverpool city centre and a short walk from Waterloo railway station.

Adjacent to the beautiful Crosby Marine Park, The Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre offers something for everyone and is housed in one amazing, fully-accessible facility overlooking the picturesque Crosby Marina. The centre boasts an intimate 15-room Lakeside Lodge designed to be fully accessible and convenient.

Crosby Lakeside is located at the gateway to the Mersey Estuary in the heart of Crosby Coastal Park, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, which provides the home to the internationally renowned Antony Gormley’s “Another Place”, Iron Men statues.

The centre, which functions also as a visitor centre, features exciting water sports, physical activities for young & old alike, an Active Sefton fitness suite with a variety of fitness classes, premier conference & meeting suites plus the fantastic Lakeside Bar & Bistro to meet all of your dining or catering needs.
