Description

Set on a hillside with extensive views over the rural landscape, this former detached farmhouse has been renovated to provide impressive and spacious holiday accommodation in which the retention of original features, such as massive oak beams, cattle stalls and exposed stone walls maintain the ambiance and character of the old building. The ground floor and its facilities have been thoughtfully designed to be suitable for the disabled. Wide steps wind down from the covered terrace to an attractive pool and patio area. The extremely spacious and very attractive terrrace around the pool overlooks the beautiful countryside - a superb area to relax and enjoy a drink or sunbathe.

Visit the bastide town of Eymet with its wonderful architecture or the medieval village of Issigeac. Bordeaux is 1 hour away and the stunning coastline of the west approx 2 hours. It is an easy drive to historic Bergerac and a pleasant day trip to the pre-historic caves of Lascaux and Les Eyzies, or the renowned vineyards of St. Emilion. Golf 15km, horseriding 10km, tennis 5km.
