Description

’The Domaine’ comprises of three cottages all created within a barn conversion and the owner’s property which is at the opposite side of the courtyard. Each of the cottages have their own private patio area for relaxing and dining al-fresco. The rest of the grounds are shared with the other cottages, as well as a games area, courtyard, table tennis facilities and swimming pool (10 x 5m, depth 1 - 1.8m). The cottages are spacious, particularly the bedrooms and bathrooms and have modern appliances and furnishings. It is well designed for wheelchair access, a ramp at the entrance door and a ground floor bedroom and wet room. Local shops and restaurants are within walking distance (approximately 200m). Cognac is the closest major town and the famous producers of Cognac offer guided visits of their vineyards and production facilities. The historic old Roman town of Saintes is approximately 30km, and slightly further are the sandy beaches of the Atlantic and the popular resort of Royan. Shared swimming pool and sports facilities.
