This charming cottage has been sympathetically restored and provides extremely cosy and comfortable accommodation furnished and equipped to a high standard. It is located on the owners' 400 acre farm a mile from the delightful village of Gifford with its large village green, pretty cottages, everyday shopping and pubs serving meals. There is a diverse range of attractions in the area including walks from the doorstep, golf, castles and stately homes including Lennoxlove, home of the Duke of Hamilton. The Museum of Flight (home to Concorde) is a 15 minute drive away. North Berwick, 12 miles away, offers safe, sandy beaches and a picturesque harbour with boat trips to the Bass Rock bird colony whilst historic Haddington is 4 miles and Edinburgh 20 miles from this lovely, country cottage.

Entrance vestibule, open plan sitting/dining room with open fire in original range and very well equipped kitchen area. Arch to inner hall, 2 bedrooms - 1 double with original cast-iron fireplace and 1 twin. Bathroom with 3 piece suite and power shower over bath.

Facilities: electric cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster. Automatic washer, iron/ironing board. Colour TV. Bed linen provided. Towels not available. Oil-fired central heating and electricity included in the rent. Fuel supplied for the open fire. Garden with chairs. Ample parking. Non Smokers only please. 1 well behaved pet.
