- Your local authority can help find a suitable carer for you. See directory of local councils.
- Some of the holiday accommodation we list can provide a carer as part of their service. Please call us about these properties.
We suggest that you contact one of the carers / companies below after you have found a suitable holiday that is available. A good carer will want to know about the level of care you would need. Be sure to ask about the care packages that they offer and the costs involved.

BREAK supports children, adults and families with special care needs - including supported holidays, short breaks, respite care and day care support.
Handicapped Aid Trust - 01253 796 441
The Handicapped Aid Trust provides grants towards the cost of helpers to assist disabled people on holiday, and towards the cost of holidays and helpers to give carers a break.
Help Choosing Carers
We are on hand to help and give as much advice as we can, however we do recommend that you arrange companion care yourself so you can speak directly to the carer or company arranging your care so that they can then gain a better understanding of your needs.
