These delightful former farm buildings, set in 100 acres of livestock farm close to the owner’s home, have been converted and equipped to provide good sized holiday accommodation with the disabled in mind, with a riser recliner chair in each property. One of the island’s most popular attractions, Osborne House and Gardens, Queen Victoria’s favourite former residence, is within easy reach via the floating bridge from West Cowes to East Cowes. There are many beaches (sandy or shingle) to explore as well as the breathtaking coastal scenery around the island. Visit Carisbrooke Castle, various wildlife centres, adventure parks, bird and donkey sanctuary, the amazing rock formations of The Needles, many NT Homes, Calbourne Water Mill, pottery making, glass blowing, lilac and garlic farms, as well as many tea rooms. The Heritage Coastline, 150 yards away, offers excellent walking, whilst reed beds make for ideal bird watching. Cowes is great for sailing, whilst the island, renowned for its temperate climate has much to suit all tastes. Shop 4 miles, pub 2 miles.
