However to ensure that you are 100% covered for illness overseas you must declare your medical conditions or disability, and if you know of any reason why you may need to cancel you must also make the insurance company aware of this.
To go through the medical screening procedure is normally quite simple, an insurance advisor will normally record information on your medical condition, ask some questions on medication and then give you a quotation; as each insurance company is different you may get two quotes; the first to cover all medical conditions declared and the second to exclude all medical conditions declared. Obviously there will be a difference in price but as a travel company who cares for their customers we would recommend that if at all possible you aim to take the cover that includes any claim even if related to a pre existing medical condition.
Insurance is something many people overlook and even though it is not law; no travel company in the UK can force you to take any travel insurance, we as a caring company believe that if you have a comprehensive policy in place you can look forward to your holiday, go on holiday and enjoy every minute of it without worrying, as even if the worse does happen you are covered!
