A modern barn conversion situated within the grounds of the owner's home, Brook Cottage is nestled on the outskirts of the village of Bradworthy in North Devon.
This dog-friendly dwelling with many green credentials has a level access and interior to aid those with mobility issues and is perfect for a family of four.
After parking in the off-road space, venture into a hallway that leads into a light and airy open-plan living space with an electric fire and charming seating area.
The kitchen is well equipped for rustling up meals that can be enjoyed at the large dining table or outside on your private patio, enclosed by a low picket fence.
In the evening, head to bed in two nicely presented bedrooms one being a super-king-size with a versatile zip/link bed and the other being a delightful king-size room; both rooms share a separate, spacious wet room.
Outside you can enjoy dining alfresco in your private garden, before roaming through two acres of meadowland and lakes that are fenced and gated for the safety of dogs and children.
Here you can enjoy a picnic or play ball games, children must be supervised around the lakes.
The village of Bradworthy has all you need for supplies including a great pub, Bradworthy Inn, serving local ale and home cooked food.
There are some lovely local walks across Bradworthy Moor or the South West Coastal path can be joined within five miles at Welcombe.
Holsworthy is a wonderful day out for the family, with the extensive Stanthorphe Park to venture through and the town's museum where you can learn of the local history.
Venture north to discover a bounty of activities, including the Milky Way Adventure Park and North Devon Wake Park, as well as the fascinating Gnome Reserve and Wildflower Garden in Cranford.
The magnificent sandy beaches of Bude, Widemouth Bay and Sandymouth Bay all rest a short distance away, along the Hartland Cornwall Heritage Coast and the Tamar Lakes offer a variety of watersports and has a café and adventure area for children.
Brook Cottage is a great dog-friendly base for a family holiday or couples looking to explore North Devon and Cornwall.

Off the beaten track and surrounded by the lush green pastures of North Devon, it provides the perfect base for a truly relaxing holiday in an area with several top class visitor attractions. Just 3 miles away the Tamar Lakes provide fishing and an array of watersports for the enthusiast, while south-west is the beach resort of Bude, with its outstanding surfing, rocky coves, golf course and restaurants. Several excellent stretches of the SW Coast Path, the beaches at Sandy Mouth and Welcombe Mouth, Hartland Point Quay and Lighthouse and the beautiful cliff-side village of Clovelly and bike riding on the Tarka Trail are some of the attractions that should not be missed in this fascinating area.
